DEUTSCHE COMPOSITE
Unlike most catamaran-based projects, Deutsche Composite GmbH is built on a monohull concept for better use of space and more comfort. The PRORETA 12 was designed for up to six people, but not without sacrificing good driving ability and functionality on board. The specifications included parameters such as “good driving characteristics and maneuverability, efficient energy management and an above-average solid construction.”
The design, which was implemented for series production, was created on the computers of iYacht GmbH, which has experience with houseboats, in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Stefan Sasse. The houseboat has been assessed by SWISS LLOYD, iYacht´s authorized party, for CE design category C and is subject to series production monitoring.
