CAPRICORNUS

Capricornus is a custom 48-metre tri-deck multihull with a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, with a gross tonnage of 900 GT.
Classed by Bureau Veritas as a Passenger Vessel for up to 36 passengers, she offers 15 ensuite guest staterooms.
iYacht was responsible for the exterior design, naval architecture and the GA of this multihull.

As her name suggests, Capricornus draws inspiration from the mythical sea creature of the zodiac, symbolising strength, resilience, and adventure.


Capricornus was envisioned as a superyacht-level vessel tailored for the boutique cruise market.

As Udo A. Hafner, CEO of iYacht, explains:

“Capricornus definitely falls into an interesting category—somewhere between a compact cruise vessel and a highly efficient superyacht. It’s a trend we see more and more in the industry.”
