iYacht was responsible for the design and engineering of this aluminium RIB, suitable for Search and Rescue operations.

Our naval architects and engineers designed a highly refined stepped hull to reduce wetted surface, increase top speed, minimise slamming, and improve ride comfort.
A progressive deadrise in the first step further helps to reduce slamming impact.
The angle of the stepped hull was carefully optimised to strike the right balance between high-speed performance, ride quality, and cornering ability.

We also handled the scantling of the aluminium hull according to EN ISO standards.

The boat was designed in full compliance with the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD 2013/53/EU), and to ensure CE certification, we also provided the yard with the CE Owner’s Manual.

Starting from one platform, we developed three versions: open, cabin, and shuttle.
